One of the most painstaking (yet important) parts of writing is the editing process where you tear what you’ve written apart and let others do the same.
As irksome as this process might be, it is crucial. No one wants a badly edited book and believe me, you’ll find plenty of things that’ll make you wonder why you even wrote them in the first place.
But that’s okay. The point of editing is not to devalue yourself or your writing. It’s to make it even better.
