This is going to be heavily inspired by today’s NaNoWriMo Pep Talk from Maggie Stiefvater.
Maggie Stiefvater started off her Pep Talk with the words…
I hear you’re trying to do an impossible thing.
Good. I love impossible things.
Reaching NaNoWriMo’s monstrous 50,000 word count goal may seem like an impossible feat for many. But really, it’s not! I would start singing “Impossible” from Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella but it would probably wouldn’t sound all that great.
Anyhow, my point is that NaNo isn’t impossible. Not if you keep being determined to cross that finish line. Which is hard. It takes time management and that’s not always the easiest thing. But the main point of NaNo is to write every day. Every word counts. Just keep working at it and you’ll make it!
